Mahayla graduated from The Master’s University with a BA in Biblical Counseling. During her time in college, the Lord has deepened Mahayla’s desire to counsel women biblically. In a world that encourages women to focus on self, Mahayla wants to steer women away from that ideology and teach them that true transformation is only done through Jesus Christ and the Word of God. She’s privileged to be a part of the DHFW and looks forward to witnessing the power of the Gospel work through these women firsthand. When she’s not busy working or catching up on some much-needed sleep, you’ll probably find Mahayla deep in conversation about theology at a cozy coffee shop, exploring hiking trails, trying out new foods, or soaking up some sun with a good book. Fun fact: Mahayla’s favorite book in the Bible is Leviticus.
