The Damascus House ministry provides work training for the men and women in the program. The jobs we do include:

  • Landscaping projects

  • Bark/Mulch/Soil/Rock Deliver & Spreading

  • Mowing, Blowing, Edging, Weeding, Weed-Eating

  • Hedge/Bush Trimming and Pruning

  • Land/Brush Clearing

  • Gutter Cleaning

  • Roof/Moss Treatments

  • Window Cleaning

  • Planting/garden planters

  • Help with Organization and de-clutter

  • Wrapping gifts

  • Events set-up

  • Yard sale prep

  • Home/Furniture Moves

  • Property Clean-Up

  • Hauling/Dump Runs

  • Pressure Washing (We DO NOT pressure wash homes/buildings)

    • Driveways

    • Walkways

    • Patios

    • Decks

We do not perform the following work:

  • Carpentry

  • Painting/Staining

  • Framing/Building

  • Plumbing/Electrical

  • Any “skilled” type of labor

Pricing:

Labor Rate:

$30.00/hr per worker (2 worker/2 hr min.)

Minimum charge (2 Hours Per Worker):

$120.00

Hauling/Delivery/Transportation Fees:

Each Trip (per location change): $50.00

Dump Fees/Materials: Actual Charge + 25%

**Labor charges continue to accrue during material pickups, deliveries, and dump-runs.**
